On Saturday, April 18th, Floriánska Street was transformed into a unique urban setting where design, automotive culture, and city life came together. The Porsche Fans Slovakia Gallery event attracted visitors and passers-by alike, bringing a distinctive atmosphere to Vydrica.
The street came alive with a display of iconic Porsche models, presented in collaboration with Porsche Fans Slovakia. Visitors had the chance to see some of the brand’s most celebrated cars up close — from the 718 Spyder RS and 718 Cayman GT4 RS to models from the 911 (992) range, as well as the Taycan and Panamera.
“The Porsche Fans Slovakia Gallery in Vydrica was conceived as a relaxed urban gathering, where high-performance sports cars would be shown in a different light,” explains Lukáš Turčina, co-founder of Porsche Fans Slovakia. “Rather than focusing on speed and noise, the idea was to present them as part of an open-air gallery set against the backdrop of spring.”

This approach attracted hundreds of visitors to Vydrica, offering a new perspective on these vehicles — as design objects set within an urban environment.
Throughout the day, Vydrica maintained a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, naturally complemented by its local establishments. Visitors experienced a seamless blend of automotive culture and everyday life in this emerging neighbourhood.
As part of the programme, Muoi Atelier opened its studio to the public, offering insight into the process of ceramic creation. Children could take part in creative workshops, shaping their own clay pieces, while the School of Arts contributed with its ceramic courses.

Automotive enthusiasts also enjoyed extended opening hours at the artisan bakery KRUH, where they could spend a sunny afternoon on the terrace with excellent coffee and freshly baked goods.
Porsche Day is one of several events included in this year’s programme at Vydrica. The season began with an Easter egg hunt, and upcoming highlights include the beginning of the cycling season and the Varga Triathlon.
As the weather improves, Vydrica continues to evolve into a lively urban space where culture, community, and outdoor activities naturally come together.
