Phase I of Vydrica has been shortlisted for the CE ZA AR 2026 Architecture Awards in the Residential Buildings category. Organised annually by the Slovak Chamber of Architects, the CE ZA AR Awards are among the most prestigious architectural honours in Slovakia.
In this milestone 25th edition of the competition, the jury evaluated 83 completed projects from across Slovakia and selected just 21 nominations for the final shortlist. Vydrica is proud to be among them.
This year’s theme, #architecturalpolicy, emphasises that architecture is about more than buildings—it is also about the quality of public spaces and life in the city. This principle lies at the heart of the Vydrica project. Its aim is to create a new urban neighbourhood that naturally extends Bratislava’s historic city centre while providing a high-quality environment for living, working and leisure.
The first phase of the project was designed by COMPASS ARCHITEKTI, Šujan_Stassel, 2ka landscape architects and Marko & Placemakers, in collaboration with a number of specialist partners.
The winners will be announced on 8 October 2026.
