The new Bratislava district of Vydrica will participate as a partner in the Biela Noc international art festival for the first time this year. From October 3 to 5, the historic area beneath the castle will be transformed into a vibrant canvas for contemporary art, and showcasing four audiovisual installations especially created for Vydrica.
Biela Noc Festival 2025 will bring dozens of works by local and international artists to Bratislava. “We are excited to host Biela Noc in Vydrica. Our partnership with this exceptional event allows us to connect new public spaces with contemporary art, offering visitors the opportunity to discover Vydrica in a completely new way,” said Juraj Ťahún, Commercial Director of Lucron.

Four Works, Four Perspectives on Light and Space
The festival program in Vydrica will present original artistic interpretations of light, space, and human experience. The artists have created works that respond to the unique atmosphere of this location, inviting visitors to experience the area with a fresh perspective. The installations include:
Vydrica as a New Cultural Space
The installations created specifically for Vydrica will be placed at several unique locations in the new district – in both historical ice pits, Kempelen Park, and the retail space on Floriánska Street. In addition to the artworks, visitors can look forward to accompanying activities that will complement the light installations and ensure an unforgettable experience.
